The Truth that Lies Beneath: A Hower House Murder Mystery Novella

The Truth that Lies Beneath: A Hower House Murder Mystery Novella

Mystery writer, Pamela Shore, chose Akron’s very own Hower House as the setting for her next whodunit. Its Italianate exterior, delightfully furnished rooms, and wallpapered corridors oozed wealth and exquisite taste. Who knew there would be a lot to uncover? Strange noises, items moved and out-of-place, piqued the curiosity of Clarisse, a young university student who works as the receptionist at this historical landmark. Just as she convinces the writer to investigate to uncover some answers, a young man is discovered murdered in a parking lot nearby, with a Hower House flyer in his jeans pocket. Tongues wag and rumors run amuck. One thing’s for certain, this beautiful, old mansion, rich in history, has quite a story to tell.
