Daniel Bell

2026
Daniel Bell is a serial exaggerator who never finished a college degree and has almost never been to jail. He has been a carpenter, bartender, farm hand, field biologist, bad credit risk, bouncer, drunk, soldier, unlicensed pharmaceutical distributer, and a step dad. He has a much calmer life now, married to the love of his life, Melissa, and lives in northeast Ohio.

Dead in River Valley
Wade Phelps is a huge, intimidating man committed to non-violence. He has his commitment tested when, driven by guild and a secret kept for twenty years, he pursues the killer of his old high school girlfriend. With the local police investigation going nowhere, he grows more and more desperate to find out how the innocent girl he loved as a teenager could have come to such a violent end--and if he was responsible for her fate.

Adrift
The Cold War was over, the Gulf War, too. Everyone around Vincent Ten Ponies scrambled to find their place in the new order of things and deal with new problems. Vince had no problems when he was flying cargo. But on the ground, his shady and eccentric boss gave him all he could handle, including two newly-recruited college drop outs. It falls to Vince to keep the naive giant, Jim, alive, his ambitious, dysfunctional girlfriend Macy, in check, and all of them out of prison. In just a few months he'll have the money for his own plane and be able to work for himself--if his boss and new coworkers don't get him killed first.
