Welcome to our little corner of
Northeast Ohio, where stories come to life and writers become
published authors!
For over 13 years, The Wayne Novelist Guild, an eclectic group of
storytellers has gathered—both in person and over Zoom—twice a
month on Thursday nights, driven by one common goal: to get our
work into the hands of readers.

More than half of our members are now published, but
that doesn’t stop us from supporting each other every step of the way.
We hold writing sprints, swap articles, share craft tips, cheer on our
writers through book reviews, and show up at their speaking
engagements. Whether it’s through a workshop, a book festival, or a
conference, we find ways to celebrate and uplift our fellow authors.
While we welcome new members, we do have a vetting process to
ensure a good fit. After all, no matter how different we are as
individuals, we stand united in one mission—to see every one of us
succeed in publishing.
And since we’re all just a stone’s throw from each other, you never
know when a spontaneous gathering or festive get-together might
happen. After all, writing can be a solitary journey, but with the right
community, it’s a much merrier adventure especially with Chrissy
Hartmann, Cary Harter, Cyndi Brec, Ruth Reifsnyder, Linda Morgan,
John Newton, Max Willi Fischer, Patricia Morgan, Judy Cicero, and
R.W. Schultz
