Susan Mellon writes romance that's always clean & lighthearted with a sprinkle of humor.

Although she and her husband, Alex, live in Pennsylvania, Vermont has captured a piece of her heart. When not writing, Susan enjoys reading, watching movies, nurturing her plant obsession, and dreaming about her next visit to Vermont.

She also believes life is too short to eat anything other than premium chocolate and is never too far away from her cup of coffee.

Boring Office Guy

Boring Office Guy

My name is Farren Douglas, and after a string of unfortunate events that landed me back at my parents’ house, I’ve accepted a job at Victory Debt Collections. It’s a paycheck, right?

My office cubicle is sandwiched between the “world’s best grandmother” and some guy with no personality. Although I labeled him Boring Office Guy, he has the most gorgeous blue eyes I’ve ever seen.

It's funny how life is, though. I’m just going about my business when my cousin, Max, asks me to help at the local senior center. After that fateful night, everything changes.

My name is Dan Littleton. I work at Victory Debt Collections and live in a condo with my grandmother, whom I affectionately call Mum-Mum.

My cubicle is next to a newly hired woman. Not only is she annoying and kind of prone to mishaps, but she also has an adorable, little button nose. Her name is Farren Douglas.

I would do anything for Mum-Mum, including helping at the local senior center on bingo night. It’s funny, though, you just never know whom you’re going to run into. Some may call that fate, but as for me, the verdict is still out.

A Cocoa Springs Christmas

A Cocoa Springs Christmas

When my fiancé broke off our engagement after Thanksgiving dinner, I vowed to skip Christmas this year and hibernate until January. I also swore off men, too. Yep, who needs them?

But because of one pesky little nuisance, such as running my own business as a personal driver, I’d have to leave hibernating to the bears.

With a never-ending supply of cocoa and cookies via my twin sister’s bakery, I just might survive until the new year.

Then my sister introduced me to a new client named Topper Ford.

Between Topper and a case of the flu, Christmas in Cocoa Springs will never be the same again.

I thought last Christmas in Cocoa Springs couldn’t be topped, but boy was I wrong.

My wedding to Topper Ford certainly had its share of hiccups. Such as finding a new wedding venue last minute because the Little Corner Church scheduled too many weddings for the same day, not to mention their annual Christmas Eve service.

I also couldn’t find a wedding dress to get married in. And I was pretty sure that I’d have to get married in my bathrobe. But hey, at least it’s white.

All I wanted was a memorable wedding, one we could look back on and smile. But be careful what you wish for, because due to a few unexpected wedding mishaps . . . our wedding would definitely be memorable.
