We Advocate Steamy Books is a podcast all about reading romance and romancing readers. We are striving to create a safe place for everyone to read, enjoy, and discuss the genre of romance. Hosted by Ellie and Angie.

Ellie is an actress, author, poet, and a proud co-host of We Advocate Steamy Books. She has a degree in Creative Writing with an unofficial minor in Theatre, and worked in regional theatre before following a different path as a storyteller. She is published in the Ohio Bards Poetry Anthology and Bella Grace Magazine, with more publications to come! When she is not reading or writing, you can find her on stage somewhere or taking a nap.

Angie is a full-time cosmetology student and part time podcaster. She enjoys reading romance and romancing readers; also gardening. She has an obsession with plants, creating clothing, and collecting trinkets. She is pretty much just three racoons in a trench coat!

Ep 1 - Henleys are Made out of Magic Fabric - The Love Hypothesis

Angie's first book is one that teaches us all to walk around with the confidence of a mediocre white man. Ellie and Angie introduce themselves and take on their first steamy book ever for the pod - The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood.

Ep 11 - Are You Mango Tattoo Butt? - The Unhoneymooners

Ep 11 - Are You Mango Tattoo Butt? - The Unhoneymooners

*cue bongo drums* If you like…enemies-to-lovers, fake relationships, forced proximity, the one bed trope, that little white lie that turns into something more, tropical vacay settings, hilarious situations, lovable characters, and lots and lots of Mai Thais…we’ve got the book and episode for you. Angie and Ellie cover a book that reminds them of the truths that a lil flirt never hurts, the free seafood buffet always comes with a price, and SOFAS ARE A COP-OUT! Nothing feels forced about this story, except the proximity. We dive into The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren.
