Elizabeth R. Strauss (Liz) is a Teen Librarian born and raised in Northeast Ohio. She plays video games, crochets, reads (of course!) and can fill a sketchbook in as little as three months. She has filled over thirty journals with her thoughts, book ideas, and movie reviews since age 11. On occasion, she writes funny stories about psychics and/or teenagers. Teen Psychic is her first series in print and follows the escapes of young psychic Dianna Blackwell as she helps her friends with their ghostly problems. Liz also produces planners, journals, and other specialty notebooks. Future projects include a third adventure for Dianna and Steve the ferret as well as a nonfiction book on journaling.
Unfortunately, Liz has never owned a ferret herself. If she did, she'd name him Arnold.

Specifics don't come around too often. And, when they do, they tend to come along at pretty inconvenient times. Like in the middle of a sexual education lecture at a Christian school. Not pretty. Anyway, as I was saying, what I get are feelings, hunches. For instance, I have a hunch that Aly lost her keys (again), and that they might be in a pile of junk on her dresser. I have a hunch that I'll have a fight with my Mom tonight. And, I have a hunch that public school is not going to be easy for a psychic. But, if I keep my big psychic mouth shut, maybe, just maybe, I can get through my Sophomore year without talking to the Vice Principal. What could go wrong?Teen drama, driving lessons, premonitions, ghosts... I have a hunch this is going to be harder than I thought.
