Austin is a 14 year old author who was born in Dover, Ohio. When he was 10, Boo the Shoe was published but he created Boo the Shoe when he was 8. When Austin couldn't go to bed his mom told him to write a short story to help him go to sleep. After some thinking, Austin wanted to make a story about a talking shoe with a name that could rhyme. Finally he had settled on a name that felt right, Boo the Shoe.
