Author Bio

T.B. Pasko is a retired police captain with twenty-seven years of law enforcement experience including command assignments in Vice, Narcotics and Uniformed Patrol. He was part of a multi-jurisdictional task force recognized by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office for their work on the investigation, arrest and prosecution of serial killer Richard Beasley. Pasko also appeared on an episode of Investigation Discovery’s Very Bad Men that featured the case. He holds a master’s degree in police administration from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Ashland University. He is a big fan of The Twilight Zone and other classic sci-fi TV shows and movies.

Summary

Veteran Officer Danilo Venko, is an overweight, white dinosaur knocking on the door of 50 working the graveyard shift in the beleaguered 7th Precinct under an oppressive commander. It couldn’t get much worse and yet it does. Venko is assigned to train rookie Officer Marcus McGhee, an African American Gen Z member who spends more time watching his phone than the streets. The pair are assigned a cold case of two missing teens abducted 27 years apart by the same suspect that vanished after both incidents. They discover their kidnapper has recently reappeared and snatched another teen only to release him ten minutes later, unharmed with no memory of the event. A winding chase leads them to a retired one-legged detective, a toxic industrial plant, and a cover up before the shocking conclusion.

Summary
