Farrah Raines has 21 years' experience of working with children as a pediatric occupational therapy assistant. She is employed by the East Central Ohio Educational Center in New Philadelphia, OH. Her background expands to a license massage therapist, pediatric feeding therapist, certified autism spectrum disorder clinical specialist, children’s yoga and mindfulness instructor, lead specialist for Lacey PAC Adaptive Movement Center, sensory movement instructor, color guard instructor, blogger, storyteller and public speaker. She has spoken at two of the largest Autism Conferences in the state Ocalicon in Columbus, OH. and Milestones Autism Conference in Cleveland, OH. At a local level Farrah has spoken at the ASPIES Stark/Tuscarawas Counties Support Group and the Girls with Pearls group at Strasburg Elementary.
Farrah began 5 years ago as a children’s author and illustrator. She has written four children's books covering the following topics: sensory tools, emotional regulation, self-confidence, and food exploration and travels to different venues in three counties reading and talking about her books.
When Farrah is not working, she enjoys taking fun road trips in their Mustang with her husband Todd Raines of 15 years. During their trips Farrah keeps her eyes open for new Wonder Woman collectables that she enjoys collecting.

Ruby Sue takes on the role of the food inspector. This role entails helping to the pick the produce and inspect the food for any bad spots. Farmer Farrah teachers her little buddy, how to inspect the food using her different senses. From sight to smell to touch and if you're feeling really brave you may even want to taste the new foods.
At the end of the book, the reader will fine their very own food mat. Using the list of descriptive words or coming up with their own, the food mat helps learning about new foods fun instead of being scary. Did you know there is evidence that suggests children need to be exposed to a food at least 12 times before they start to like it. Why not take a trip through the rainbow of foods using your very own food mat to encourage food exposure.

Teaching children about feelings is vital to healthy social and emotional development, however, it can be a challenging task to take on. Using this book can be a helpful tool for exposing young children to eight types of feelings. Being able to identify emotions is the first step to emotional wellness. Once the child is familiar with feeling identification they can begin acknowledging their own feelings. From there they can start to develop calming or alerting tools that help them work through their emotions.
