From the time I was young, I realized that my brain worked differently than the other kids my age. In a classroom full of chaos, I was more boisterous, more disorganized, more chaotic than my peers. When I aged and order took root in the minds of the kids around me, I sort of… stayed the same.
I realized back then what I still know today: I find order and joy in crafting stories in fantasy worlds I wish I could go explore. My work, especially in The Gate series, reflect the chaos of my own mind, but also the beauty and peace I've managed to find along the way.

Hand of Radiance is high fantasy story with themes of Order against Chaos, light (Radiance) against Darkness, and highlights some of the struggles we deal with in our real world using fantasy allegories.

A Race Against Darkness is a story I'm truly proud of. It continues the themes of Hand of Radiance, but features a deeper and darker story. This book asks a simple question: would a world ripe with human divisions be able to stand against an ascending evil?
