A graduate of Kent State University, she has a Bachelor of General Studies, with a dual focus in Psychology and Sociology, and an associate degree in Human Services. Board Secretary 2025 of Great Lakes Fiction Writers, Christy also thrives as an educator and is Co-owner and Manager of a small in-home photography business. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, boating, camping, and embarking on Jeep or motorcycle adventures with her own prince charming.
